Custom paper bags and gift bags
Paper and gift bags complete a presentation and make gifts easier to carry. Start with the contents’ dimensions and weight. Flat items, boxes, and bottles may need different bases and handles.
What should you compare?
Compare usable dimensions, paper weight, base width, and handle attachment. Allow room for tissue or protective filling where used. Larger orders also need space for storage and transport.
Contents should go in and out without handles or top edges getting in the way. Trial assembly before a large distribution event. Tissue and cards add bulk, so external dimensions alone aren't enough to confirm whether the complete gift will fit.
Gift bags that fit the contents and occasion
Choose a size around the finished gift set. Arrange products as intended and include the card and any filling. The recipient should be able to remove the gift comfortably, not merely fit it tightly inside. Oversized packaging can hide a small item at the bottom and make it awkward to carry.
Handles affect presentation and use. Paper, cord and other handle constructions may suit different loads. Review attachments and base construction together with manufacturer information. Bottles and taller items need adequate base space and clearance to the top edge.

Printing a stock bag and producing bespoke packaging offer different design freedom. Dielines must allow for the base, side folds, and handle attachments. Review the assembled form too. Large color areas, small logos, and two-sided messages may require different processes, so describe the intended result clearly.
